Safety Legislation & Implementation

Health & Safety legislation in building construction is constantly evolving so it is vital that we adapt our policy and training in line with these changes. We employ a Construction Health and Safety Consultant who keeps us up to date with new legislation, advising us on its implementation. He also provides necessary training and advises us on the more complex issues arising from the works carried out.

Our aim is to provide a safe working environment, to promote a genuine awareness of safety matters and to create an understanding of the importance of safe working practices.

Full Liability Insurance

• Public and Products Liability to the value of £5,000.000;
• Employers' Liability to the value of £10,000 000

These insurances are renewed each year in April.

Skills Training & Apprenticeship

To build on the skills and experience of our workforce we are committed to the training of Apprentices to a high standard. As such we are registered with the   CITB   (Construction Industry Training Board)   which provides comprehensive training in Construction Skills and Health & Safety matters.
